Benefits of working at safe passage international

At Safe Passage, we prioritise the wellbeing and safety of staff and are proud to offer a range of benefits to ensure staff thrive not only in their work but in their personal lives and physical, emotional and mental wellbeing too. We believe a work-life balance helps staff deliver their best work.

Flexible Working

☑️ We go beyond our statutory obligations to flexible working, operating a ‘flexible by default’ approach in the design and recruitment of roles.

☑️ Flexible working requests will be considered from day one of employment. This includes remote and part time working.

Family friendly policies

☑️ We understand that employees have caring responsibilities outside of their work, so we provide policies that support our employees throughout their time at Safe Passage to help maintain their work-family life balance (e.g. enhanced parental leave entitlement for both parents).

Annual Leave

☑️ In the UK, staff are entitled to 25 days of annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays with additional discretionary leave in December between the Christmas and New Year period.

☑️ We also have a fully functional ‘time off in lieu’ (TOIL) policy for times when you may be required to work outside usual working hours.

Learning & Development

☑️ For new starters, a full ‘induction fortnight’ to meet the whole Safe Passage team, learn more about our work, and receive the support needed to fully understand your new role.

☑️ Employees receive a dedicated training budget and personal development plan with continued support from your manager to meet and excel in your agreed objectives and development goals.

Pension Scheme

☑️ In the UK, we offer 5% employer and 3% minimum with no maximum employee contributions.

☑️ Optional Pension Salary Sacrifice Scheme.

☑️ In Greece and France, we meet the statutory pension requirements for each role.

Working Spaces

☑️ Friendly, open plan, modern offices based in London, France and Greece.

☑️ Our offices include breakout rooms and collaboration spaces for group meetings and informal chats.

Wellbeing Support

☑️ Access to an Employee Assistance Programme from a leading provider (eg. 24/7 telephone advice service, free access to counselling, health, legal and financial wellbeing support services).

☑️ Psychosocial supervision sessions for all frontline staff.

Working Groups

☑️ Regular staff-led activities including Wellbeing and DRI (Diversity, Representation and Inclusion) Working Groups to ensure staff voices are heard and valued. We are committed to consistently improving our international working environments.
