NORTHERN EUROPE FIELD MANAGER (FT-Consultancy)
Safe Passage works to break open safe and legal routes to protection for refugees.
The Northern Europe Field Manager is a demanding new role working out of Belgium, Sweden or Germany that will have four core areas of focus:
- Ensuring safe and legal routes such as Dublin III’s family reunion provisions work well to transfer thousands of refugees safely to join family elsewhere in Europe, particularly focussing on Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark
- Influencing key negotiations at EU level on the future of safe and legal routes within Europe such as Dublin IV
- Developing a learning infrastructure to support practitioners across Europe to make more effective use of the safe and legal routes available to their refugee clients
- Promoting the development and improvement of safe and legal routes at European Union level through advocacy, research and campaigns
