General Election 2024: Our manifesto

On 4th July, the UK will choose new MPs and a new government, offering an opportunity to reshape refugee rights. Our top priority for the incoming government remains the same: to establish safe routes and make the UK a welcoming haven for refugees.

Working with those seeking asylum and refugees, we have set out four key demands to all political parties ahead of the General Election:

1. End the use of inflammatory, racist and anti-refugee rhetoric.

2. Ensure refugees have safe alternatives to dangerous journeys.

3. Renew the UK’s commitment to international cooperation.

4. Restore the right to seek asylum and build an asylum system with dignity.
